our mission
The Missing Persons Center is an IRS Approved 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization.
We are here to support law enforcement and families in bringing needed attention to missing persons cases that may have fallen through the cracks of the system and to prevent others from being lost in the midst of so many reported every day.
As you browse through our database, you will see many missing people, many of which are missing for reasons out of their control. Most of the people profiled are victims of a crime and we not only need to locate them, but the person or people behind why they disappeared.
Often times, people visit our website are dealing with the issue of a missing person for the first time and don't know what to expect. You could be the family member of a missing person, friend or just curious about missing people in general.
Our site contains a wealth of information to help you navigate this topic and resources to assist you.
We are here to answer questions and support families in finding resources to make a difference in the reporting process, investigation and publicity of their case.
The biggest challenge in most cases, is keeping law enforcement motivated in investigating and the media or social media talking about the story behind the missing person.
Our team and volunteers are made up of everyday people and professionals with many years of experience in law enforcement, and the media and have a passion for trying to make a difference in the lives of people they don't know.
There is a lot of conversation lately about inequalities in law enforcement and the media and which cases get the most attention and why. We don't get distracted with the politics of missing people, we are driven by one goal and that is to assist in finding missing people and bringing as much attention and focus to every case we can. Knowing there are some very underserved minority groups, we do our best to see that all cases submitted to us is handled with care, respect and professionalism.
Our efforts are limited without funding and we encourage you to be part of making a difference, either by helping share profiles from our site or by sponsoring us with a regular contribution of any amount. Your donations are tax deductible and will make a difference in the cases we are working on and keep what we offer available to those who will need our support in the near future.

So no family has to have someone create an age progression chart like this one. It's important to solve cases within a few days at most and the likelihood of finding a child alive after a few hours is challenging and not typical.
Your donation of any amount is tax deductible and helps us bring support to first responders and fill in investigative gaps and extended investigations when law enforcement can't.
