Details of Disappearance
Vicentini was last seen on 02/09/2006, at approximately 2:00am leaving the Adega Bar and Grill restaurant located in the vicinity of the 100 block of Ferry St. in Newark, NJ.
Open source information reports a possibility that she returned to her residence on Ferry St. near the restaurant. However, open source information also indicates she was thought to have been intoxicated, and was seen with an unidentified white male. She reportedly told a friend she was going outside the bar to the man's vehicle to view a photograph. She has not been seen since she left the restaurant.
Vicentini arrived in the United States on 01/19/2006, as an exchange student from Brazil. She was living with another exchange student in Newark at the time of her disappearance. She was 22 years old at the time of her disappearance and would be approximately 38 years old currently.
The FBI is offering a reward of up to $20,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the subject(s) responsible
for the disappearance of Carla Vicentini.
