Details of Disappearance

According to open source information, Cherokee County School District Police are looking for two teenage girls (Amber La Count, 14, and Ashilynn Swanson, 13). Both girls were last seen at Cherokee High School at approximately 9:00 am on 08/26/2021. 

Both LaCount and Swanson are currently believed to be runaways. According to open source reporting, LaCount may have been in telephonic contact with someone in Macon, GA. 

Ashilynn Swanson, 13, is five feet, four inches tall and 120 pounds. She was last seen wearing a teal/blue tank/green top, black shorts and a gray jacket. Swanson has a pierced nose, but was not wearing a nose ring the morning of 08/26/2021.
