He left our home around 07:00 AM 04-13-2023 in a 2005 Toyota Tacoma Extended Cab 4-door truck license plate 997 V25 after we (the parents) left for work and had spoken to him before leaving, not knowing anything was wrong (saying good morning, have a great day, love you, etc.). We received a call from this girlfriend's mother that she had left the night before after a heated discussion about issues that were happening, and the girlfriend snuck into our home in the middle of the night unknowingly.  When they left, they left his phone and all belongings other than what would fit into a small red backpack. His girlfriend may have access to money and credit cards.
 
 We filed a missing person-child report with LVMPD and checked the phone for clues about where they might have been headed.  LVMPD notified us on 04-13-2023 at 15:30 that they had been seen with plate readers at the CA state line crossing at approximately 10:35 AM.  We received further information from the Huntington Beach PD that the truck had been spotted at the beach near the pier on 04-14-2023 around 10:00 AM. We have not gotten any updates since then.
