Sarasota K9 Search & Rescue, Inc.

Sarasota K9 Search & Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, non-government organization comprised of highly trained, highly motivated, nationally certified volunteers and K9s. We have handlers and K9s certified in tracking & trailing, live wilderness and human remains detection. These teams train weekly to simulate a variety of possible deployment scenarios in order to be as prepared as possible. 

All members must pass a background check, numerous certifications and have minimum monthly training requirements in order to remain on the team. 

Our mission is to strengthen and assist local, state and national first responders with a professional, well-organized and well-trained team of handlers and K9s 

to ensure the safest and most positive outcome of each deployment.
