Details of Disappearance
On the evening of January 17, 2020, Veronica Reyes-Diaz drove her two older sons to her sister’s house in Plant City, about fifteen minutes away, while her husband stayed at home with their youngest son.
The next day, on January 18, 2020, Reyes-Diaz was dropped off by a friend at her home, around 1:15 am. She drove to her sister’s residence, picked up her two older children and put them to bed when they returned home.
After Reyes Diaz's disappearance, her Chevrolet Yukon was found parked outside her house with her car keys and wallet inside. Her cellular phone disappeared with her and pinged in the area on the weekend she disappeared, but by the evening of January 20th it had either been turned off or the battery had died. She has not been heard from again.
Few details are available in her case.
