WORKING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE FAMILIES OF THE MISSING

Missing Persons Support Services

We work with the families of missing people, law enforcement, the media and community.

The Missing Persons Center is dedicated to finding answers for the families of missing people to ensure that missing persons cases receive the attention they need. By publicizing these cases and fostering community engagement, we cultivate valuable tips that can lead to answers and provide hope for the loved ones of missing individuals. Our collaborative approach is designed to enhance the search efforts and bring comfort to families in their time of need.  And when everything else has failed, we are their last hope.

Your Support is Appreciated

If you have an emergency or need to report a missing person, contact your local police department first.

What we do!

At the Missing Persons Center, we offer unparalleled support to the families of missing loved ones by providing the following services

Comprehensive Profiling

Our profiling model was created after many years of experience investigating missing persons cases, globally. Our dataset is compatible with missing person reporting from any region of the world and accepted by law enforcement agencies.

Publicity & Exposure

When someone is reported missing, time becomes very valuable and the sooner the local community can be advised of a case, they are more than willing to take up the search and help where they can. We have very strong relationships with news outlets and social media sources to help spread the word quickly.

Investigations & Research Support

Every case is unique and requires the attention of individuals and techniques based on many factors. Our team is comprised of investigative experts who literally have hundreds of years of combined experience in missing persons investigations and know exactly where to start an investigation and how to adjust course as leads are developed.

Support Resources & Counseling

Many times, the family members of missing people are not considered as victims, but they are. The emotional toll of a loved one disappearing is unmeasurable and we understand this. We have a team of individuals at the ready to help you manage the unknown and how to navigate the fear of not knowing

Why We Do It!

The numbers below are provided by NAMUS, they are from the January 2024, bi-annual report.  This dataset is not complete as the NCIC report, but the numbers represented here are very important because they represent cases that families are active in finding resolve to.  Our Founder, Law Olmstead has provided a written narrative on these numbers and what most people don’t see when reviewing them.  His expert insight will help visitors better grasp what is truly happening and how the work we do is important and we need your help.

There are many families searching for answers and there are also many families, not searching for answers.

The problem we are solving!

The Missing Persons Center is a 501c3 organization dedicated to finding missing loved ones and bringing answers to their families.

We rely on public support to achieve our mission. Our comprehensive approach involves close collaboration with law enforcement, family members, and search and rescue teams.

Additionally, we leverage a robust network of media outlets and social media partnerships to widely disseminate information about missing persons cases.

By profiling these cases on our website, we aim to reach a broad audience, increasing the chances of locating the missing and providing critical support to their families.

Your support is essential to continue this vital work.

Our work doesn’t stop there, we have a team of investigators who have many years of experience as experts in the field and have been interviewed on some of the highest profile cases of our generation.  This media exposure helps us share details of the cases we are working on, and we are asked to discuss cases that have not be registered with us yet.

The topic of missing people has generally been misunderstood and law enforcement has been criticized for years for not doing enough. The impresion many people have is that law enforcement doesn’t care and dictates who gets media attention and investigative resources and for how long.  This couldn’t be farther from the truth.

With comprehensive profiling, aggressive media exposure, social sharing and an expert level approach to exploiting the facts of each case.  We can use the technology at hand to help reduce the time it takes to bring families answers on what may have happened to their loved one.
