Details of Disappearance

Anthony Coley Jr., who is nicknamed AJ, is missing from Person Road south of Roy Tharrington Road, according to the sheriff's office.

Coley suffers from cognitive impairments and he could have adverse reactions from not being on his prescribed medication, the sheriff's office said. 

He was last seen wearing a blueish-gray T-shirt, gray pants, white sneakers with red trim and a high-visibility green coat with reflective striping.

The sheriff's office said it is common for Coley to walk in the Alert community, which is an unincorporated area in northern Franklin County. 

Alert is northeast of Louisburg.
