According to open source information, Heidi Planck, a 39 year-old financial controller was last seen on 10/17/2021. On the referenced date, Planck was attending her son's football game in the greater Los Angeles area. in which her ex-husband described her behavior at the game as as being "edgy" and "antsy". 

Open source reporting indicates Planck's ex -husband, was surprised when he did not hear from Planck in the following days, apparently because they typically spoke or texted every day. Planck's ex-husband realized something was seriously wrong when she did not pick up their son on 10/20/21

Prior to Planck's disappearance, the company she worked for was reportedly under investigation for an estimated $43 million dollar fraud.  Following leaving her son's football game, a woman reportedly found Planck’s dog on the 28th floor of a downtown LA apartment building just three hours after the mom was last seen.
