Details of Disappearance

Jane McDonald-Crone was last seen by family or friends on November 14, 1993.

According to open source information, Jane McDonald Crone was 34 years of age when she was reported Missing. Crone resided with her husband and children off the Nichols Sawmill Road in Magnolia (Hockley), TX. She was employed by Baker Hughes in Houston, TX. On 11/12/1993, Crone reportedly visited the City Limits Club, Willie’s Night Life Club, and Twigs Club in northwest Harris County. On 11/15/1993, Crone’s husband reported her as a Missing Person.

On 11/19/1993, Crone’s blue 1982 Ford Mustang was found abandoned on Decision Street near the intersection of Robert’s Cemetery Road in Harris County, TX. A work crew in the area reported seeing the car at this location on 11/13/1993, approximately 7:00 am.

Crone has not been seen or heard from since.  Some open source reporting advises In 2009, Montgomery County Cold Case Detectives submitted DNA from family members to the Missing Persons/Unidentified DNA Database (CODIS). Several television stations in Mexico are alleged to have reported on 03/06/2021, Crone was found and identified. However, the FBI has not indicated any confirming information that would substantiate Crone had been found.

Crone's purse and identification were not found in the car. There were no signs of violence, however the textbooks she used at her community college classes were still within the vehicle. Crone was reportedly attending North Harris County College, in Tomball, Texas at the time of her disappearance.
