Dulce Alavez vanished from a public park 5 years ago
The girl disappeared on Sept. 16, 2019, when she and her 3-year-old brother were playing near the swings at a public park in Bridgeton, New Jersey. The rural city with a large Mexican American immigrant community is just about an hour south of Philadelphia.

"It's been five years without my daughter," said Noema Alavez Perez, Dulce's mother. "It's been really hard for me and my family not knowing where she is. We just want her to be back home."

According to open source information, Dulce Maria Alavez, age 5 at the time was last seen on the afternoon of Monday, 09/16/2019. She was while playing at the Bridgeton City Park behind Bridgeton High School in Bridgeton, New Jersey.
Dulce was last seen at the playground in Bridgeton City Park just before 5 p.m.
Dulce’s mother told police that Dulce was playing on the swings with her 3-year-old brother while she was in a vehicle with an 8-year-old relative 30 yards away. Dulce’s mother said her 3-year-old son returned to the vehicle without Dulce.
Bridgeton police said the man in the newly released sketch is not the same man described in the initial Amber Alert, but that the sketch was developed after a witness recently came forward and provided a description.
Police said a child witness initially described a light-skinned Hispanic man wearing orange sneakers, red pants, and a black shirt.
