SAWYER COUNTY, Wis. (WEAU) - A Korean War veteran is still missing after four years.
Korean War Veteran Norbert Anthony Dantzman, also called Tony, was born and raised in Sawyer County.
He grew up on a farm near Winter that his parents bought in 1919. The weekend he disappeared, he was back in Wis. for a 100-year family reunion. Dantzman has dementia.
The last known images him are of him walking by security cameras at the Northern Lights Motel.
WINTER (WQOW) - It's been four years since anyone is known to have seen Norbert "Tony" Dantzman.
Dantzman was last seen on August 30, 2019. According to the Wisconsin Department of Justice, he was staying at the Northern Lights Motel in Winter with family members, who noticed he was missing around 10 a.m. that day. He was in Sawyer County from California for a family reunion.

CIRCUMSTANCES OF DISAPPEARANCE
A Silver Alert was issued for Norbert A. Dantzman, who goes by the nickname "Tony," on 08/31/2019.
Mr. Dantzman was staying at the Northern Lights Motel (also known as the Strouf Motel) in Winter, Wisconsin with family members who noticed he was missing from the motel around 10:00am on 08/30/2019.
Mr. Dantzman had traveled to Wisconsin from his home in California for a family reunion. It is possible he tried to hitchhike to the state of California or the state of Oregon.
He was last seen wearing a grey or white hat with a Marines emblem, eyeglasses, a checkered shirt, black vest, black pants, and black shoes. He is believed to be without an identification or any funds.
