Three years after the disappearance of Xavior Harrelson, investigators say they are getting closer to solving the case.

The 10-year-old boy disappeared from the mobile home in Montezuma where he lived with his mother. A friend reported him missing on May 27, 2021.

Those who knew him and lived there are still feeling the impact of his death. However, investigators said the case was far from a cold case.

“In certain areas with the investigation, we have gotten pretty fortunate with the amount of information and evidence that we received,” he said. “With the talent and technologies that we have invested in this case, we feel confident.”
