My son Amir Rashid, 28, has been missing since Monday, September 23rd, around 12:43 PM.  Neighbors reported hearing an argument that day, with voices of a man and woman coming from the second-floor front window of a Page Street home.

It's been reported, minutes later Amir was seen leaving the home on foot, rushing hurriedly towards 16th St., making a left on Norris St.

Friends alerted Amir’s parents when their usually prompt texts went unanswered since September 23rd.

A missing persons report was filed on Thursday, September 26th with Abington PD. A missing persons report was filed with PPD 22nd district on Friday, September 27, 2024 and the case was assigned to Central Detectives that date as well.

The troubling circumstances surrounding Amir’s disappearance are deeply concerning.

Amir resided with his girlfriend on Page Street in North Philadelphia.

On September 25th, Amir’s parents received an alarming call from one of his friends, informing them that no one had heard from Amir since the argument on September 23rd.

It was reported that Amir left the residence after the argument, with his girlfriend following him until they parted ways on Norris St., at 16th as confirmed by Temple PD cameras.

Amir’s last location picked up by street cameras was Dauphin St. traveling toward Broad at 12:43 PM on Monday, September 23, 2024.  This was the last time Amir was seen, and his cell phone began going straight to voicemail on Thursday, September 26, 2024s.

Myself, my wife, family and friends immediately began searching for him but have not located him to date.
