Frequently Asked Questions

Who can list a missing person?

Typically, family members and law enforcement are the ones entering in profiles into our system, but we also allow case workers from county or state offices, veteran’s affairs and many others.  Friends are also welcome to enter profiles, we just ask that all information entered is accurate and verifiable with law enforcement.

No, we do not charge a fee for listing a missing person.  Our staff is currently made up of all volunteers who share their time to help find answers for the families of missing people.  We operate 100% on donations and anyone is welcome to support us and even “Pay it forward” if they like.

No, we will keep your profile(s) listed until users remove them.  We do not remove cases based on any timeline and in many cases, there is no resolve for many years and keeping the profile on our site helps centralize the information and over time, our profiles become the main resource for anyone looking for information on the missing person.

Register for an account.  Once your account is activated, you will find a link in your account dashboard for “Add Case”, from there, simply enter in the verifiable information, including photos and the law enforcement related details.  Our staff will verify the submission and publish the profile once everything has been verified.  Follow this information for more details.

Thank you so much for your willingness to volunteer.  Much of our success has been based on the tireless efforts of our volunteer team.  Currently, we are on a hold and not accepting new volunteers.  Be sure to sign up for our newsletter to receive updates from us, including when we will start accepting new volunteers.
