Christy was last seen on 1/21/2023 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was in the process of moving back in with family, but after a dispute, left the house and has not been seen or heard from since. Her personal belongings including her cell hone and credit cards have had no activity since.

She had left her parents home (she was in the process of moving back there) at around 10:30 am that morning to just take a walk. Christy was very likely in a vulnerable state that morning and was possibly suffering a mental health crisis. 

She has not been seen or heard from since she left for her walk. Her phone was also turned off about one hour after she left and has not been turned back on since.

There has been zero contact with Christy since 10:30 am on 1-31-23 and her email, social media and bank accounts have all remained untouched. 

Family, friends and Christy’s fiancée are all extremely worried as it is not in her character to disappear without contact. 

Christy did not have any personal belongings that would indicate she was planning to leave for any extended period of time with her when she left the house other than her phone and her purse which she always had with her. 

Christy is said to be a very trusting individual and it is feared that someone may have preyed upon her while she was in a vulnerable state. 

Christy was attending UCCS, where she was studying to get her PhD in Physics when she disappeared and was also engaged to be married. 

Christy is described as a very intelligent, creative individual who enjoys reading, playing DND with friends and spending time with her fiancée. She is also extremely interested in maintaining a fit lifestyle. 

Christy is known to often wear dark colored leggings with Birkenstock sandals, and stud earrings. She also is known to wear minimal makeup, consisting of mainly mascara. She is known to be very quiet and polite as well as very trusting and shy. However, very well-spoken. Christy does suffer from anxiety at times as well as mental health issues but it is not believed that Christy is choosing to remain missing all this time without contacting anyone.
 
She is an animal lover who is known to have cared for her various pets. In fact, at the time of her disappearance, Christy left her cats behind, which is another reason it is feared she did not choose to remain missing. 

She was also engaged at the time of her disappearance and she missed her Mother’s Birthday which also has many people concerned.
