Distinguishing artwork described: Beaded necklace around lower neck area near collarbone, Large dragon on stomach, Head of a tiger on upper left chest, Large dragon on back. Friends advised that placement of tattoos are easily concealed by a t-shirt.

David Ryo Miyamoto was last seen by family or friends on January 30, 2023 in Kannapolis, North Carolina - United States.

Miyamoto last communicated with friends via social media on January 30, 2023.

Since the above date, his cell phone and social media accounts are unreachable. Two Check Welfare requests on February 2, 2023 were unsuccessful. On the second attempt, law enforcement was provided access to Miyamoto's apartment by property management. His apartment was still furnished and contained his personal belongings.

Miyamoto is believed to be traveling in a white 2020 Hyundai Ioniq Limited 4dr sedan displaying North Carolina Registration Plate: JCC-4525.

Friends advised Miyamoto communicated daily and it was unusual that he is no longer using his phone or social media.
