During the early morning hours on April 21, 2023, Mikayla Standridge vanished from Concrete, Washington. 

Five days prior to her disappearance, Mikayla posted on Facebook, "If I ever go missing or anything just know I didn't leave". Her last known location was at a home on Skagit View Drive in Concrete. 

After interviewing relatives, we were advised she ran out of the home and called 911 where she could be heard screaming for help from dispatchers and then her phone went dead. 

Law enforcement arrived at the scene and were unable to locate Mikayla. However, Mikayla's phone was located by the Skagit river by law enforcement. 

The occupants of the home on Skagit View Drive were interviewed by law enforcement and the area was searched. We reached out to the Skagit County Sheriff's office for comment. The following statement is from Tobin Meyers, Chief Criminal Deputy:

"Extensive searches have been conducted by our search and rescue teams, investigators, UAVs, and K9s.  The Sheriff’s Office has a large search and rescue bureau consisting of several specialty units each with technical training in different aspects of search and rescue that were utilized along with commissioned Sheriff’s Office personnel to include our UAV pilots and detectives.
