WORKING WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND THE FAMILIES OF THE MISSING

Royal Canadian Mounted Police – Missing Persons

Type of Resource: Country Based
in Canada

In any given year, between 70,000 and 80,000 people are reported missing to police in Canada. While most are found within seven days, missing persons cases can be extremely stressful for family and loved ones.

  • demonstrate accountability
  • develop strong partnerships with other agencies
  • support families of missing persons
  • increase public awareness
