Details of Disappearance

Logan Drew Schiendelman was last seen by family or friends on May 19, 2016.

The last time Schiendelman spoke to his grandmother, on the morning of May 19, he seemed nervous and told her he had had an "epiphany" about himself he needed to work through. She suggested they talk about it later that day. He never spoke to her again.

The next day, wondering where he was, she pinged his cellular phone and it pinged off a tower near his mother's home in Olympia, Washington, so she assumed he was there. In fact, Schiendelman's mother hadn't seen him, and further activity on his phone indicates he went down Interstate 5 heading south, then back north, then south again, then north again, then south again.

A woman reported having seen Schiendelman with two Caucasian men by his car, which was parked on the right shoulder of southbound Interstate 5 near Exit 95. She saw them on the morning of May 20, while she was driving to work. When she passed the location again coming home, the car was still parked in the same spot, but the hood was up.

His cell phone and wallet were found inside the car.

-- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION--
It has been 5 years since we've seen Logan, who went missing on May 19, 2016. We are still actively looking for Logan and will be posting more flyers and signs as the summer approaches.

Logan Drew Schiendelman, age 19 went missing on May 19, 2016 from Tumwater, Washington.

The morning of May 19 was the last time his grandmother, Ginnie Gebo, saw Logan in her kitchen as she left for work.

Logan did not return home that night and after pinging his cell phone she determined he was possibly in the vicinity of his Mother's home.

On Sunday when his mother was contacted, it was determined Logan was not at her home so the Thurston County Sheriff's Office was contacted the following day.

After running the license plate on Logan's car, it was found that the car had been towed from the I-5 Freeway three days prior by the Washington State Patrol.

Although the car was fully registered to Ginnie and Bill Gebo and the registration was in full view on the visor above the driver's seat, yet they were not called.

A detective was assigned to Logans case by the Thurston County Sheriff's Office.  Two days after the detective was assigned, he made the call to the Washington State Patrol to inquire as to the circumstances surrounding the car.  It then came to light that Logan's car was traveling southbound on Interstate 5 when it pulled to the outside shoulder and stopped.

A tall white male then exited the car from the passenger door an ran into the woods.  Unfortunately, the car began to roll back into traffic, crossing three lanes of traffic and lodging itself onto the concrete divider on the inside shoulder of the freeway, narrowly missing contact with several cars.  The car was then towed by the Washington State Patrol to a small town in the area.  The car was towed from approximately 500 feet north of Milepost 92 on Southbound I-5.

The Thurston County Sheriff had told Ginnie Gebo she could pick up Logan's car from the towing company , which she did.  In the car she found Logan's cell phone, wallet, debit card, driver's license, snacks in a bag and water bottles.  The key was lying on the seat.  There was also $20 in change in one of the bags.  Fast forward to August 31, 2018 and we are no closer to finding Logan than we were two years ago.

Our friends and family worked hard in 2016 to raise money for a reward fund.  We raised $10,000 with garage sales, bracelet sales, bumper sticker sales and generous donations.  We have been distributing posters, flyers, business cards as well as participating in televised news reports, shows such as Investigation Discovery, Disappeared (Last Words) .

There have been several searches in the woods area near where the car was recovered.  There was a tip that Logan was seen with two men standing next to his broken down convertible and a sketch of the person he was seen with.

We feel someone knows something and is keeping very quiet about it.

Adding to his reward fund is one of the ways someone may step forward to tell us what happened to Logan and where we may find him.  If the reward fund is never claimed and we have truly lost Logan we will use the reward fund to start a scholarship fund at Logan's High School.

There is a Facebook page for Logan we started when he first went missing.  His room at home is the same as it was in May of 2016, His car sits outside next to the house.

Logan's biggest fan, Bill Gebo, his stepfather died suddenly of a heart attack in the spring of 2018.  He was deeply depressed over the loss of Logan .  Please help us increase our reward fund in hopes someone who knows something will step forward with information we so desperately need to bring closure to our nightmare.
