Mullaney also has surgical scars on his left ankle and pins contained within. Mullaney has a large tattoo of a shamrock with flames coming off the top, located in the middle of his back.

According to open source information, Matthew Alan Mullaney was reported missing on 02/01/2003 by his roommate in Florence, Italy,

Mullaney, a native of Scituate, Massachusetts, was beginning a college study abroad semester at the Angel Academy of Art in Florence.

Mullaney was last seen at approximately 2:30 a.m. on 01/31/2003, outside the door of a local Irish Pub as he was leaving. There have been no confirmed sightings of Mullaney since that time.
