Tito Jefas Garcia Quintanilla was last seen by family or friends on August 19, 2022.

Last communication was by WhatsApp and he was traveling through the desert on the USA side in visual sight of the Chacon Bat Park, Laredo Texas. At the time the family only knew he was in the Webb County area. But said he was unable to see any road leading there. He was under a bridge awaiting pickup but was unable to send a location. His phone died before any other information could be relayed to his family. He was alone and had used Google Maps to continue a four hour walk where he had been abondanoned by his guide.
