According to open source information, Aranza Ochoa-Lopez was abducted by her biological mother on 10/25/2018 in Vancouver, WA.

By way of background, Aranza Ochoa-Lopez, had been in the state’s custody when she was abducted. She was placed in foster care in 2017 following founded complaints of physical abuse by her biological mother Esmeralda Lopez-Lopez. Aranza was reportedly covered in large bruises, and Lopez-Lopez was deemed a danger based on the history of abuse, her lack of participation in a mental health assessment and her erratic behavior. She was granted twice-weekly supervised visitation, according to search warrant affidavits.

Lopez-Lopez originally faced charges of first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, second-degree theft, motor vehicle theft, second-degree identity theft and first-degree custodial interference. She will receive upwards of 14 months’ credit for time served and will be on supervised release for 18 months once she is released.

Aranza's mother was taken into custody in September of 2019 in Puebla, Mexico. Law Enforcement believe Aranza may still be in Mexico.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the recovery of Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez.
