Last Seen Wearing	Asha Jaquilla Degree was reportedly wearing a white night shirt with a teddy bear and acid wash jeans the night of her disappearance. Degree may have been wearing white Nike basketball/tennis shoes, size 3, and carrying a Tweety bird purse and a black backpack. The purse was found in a trash bag, with her house key missing, and no pictures.
Distinct Features	Asha Jaquilla Degree's ears were pierced, and she had a chicken pox scar in the center of her forehead.

According to open source information, Asha Jaquilla Degree was last seen by her family on 02/14/2000. Degree was reportedly sleeping in her bed at approximately 2:30 a.m.

At 4:00 a.m., Degree was seen by motorists walking along North Carolina Highway 18 in Shelby, North Carolina. More than a year later, Degree's book bag was discovered and buried along North Carolina 18 in Burke County.
