Hilal Hasan Ali Jaafar is the father of Mohamed Ali Helal Jaafar (victim). Hilal Hasan Ali Jaafar is wanted in the US for International Parental Kidnapping.

According to US Law Enforcement, Jaafar abducted his son Mohamed Ali Helal Jaafar on 01/20/2006, while in Oman. According to open source information, Mohamed's mother was ready to return from Oman, to Toledo, Ohio, while her then husband Jaafar refused to release their child to her.

Both father and son are believed to be in Muscat, Oman in Al-Khouair. On 09/19?2006, Jaafar's wife was granted a divorce and named sole residential parent and legal custodian of Mohamed.

On 01/11/2008, Jaafar was charged in the US with willfully retaining a child under the age of 16, with the intent to obstruct the lawful exercise of parental rights and physical custody of a child.

Subsequent to these events, a federal arrest warrant was issued by the United States District Court, Northern District of Ohio, Western Division for Jaafar.

His language abilities include: Arabic; Farsi; English; Indian; Turkish (limited); and Al-Lawati (local dialect in Oman region). Jaafar is a religious person and a member of the Al-Lawati tribe. He may be dangerous and have violent tendencies
