THE MISSING-PERSON SOURCEBOOK HAS BEEN REVISED to include a chapter dedicated to risk reduction for women.

Women at risk of domestic violence can learn how to increase the privacy and security of their phones, digital devices, and accounts.

Using tips from the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV) Safety Net Project, at-risk women can reduce an abuser’s ability to track their activity, find their location, and use technology as a tactic of abuse.

The National Centre for Missing Persons and Unidentified Remains (NCMPUR) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is Canada's national centre that assists law enforcement, medical examiners and chief coroners with missing persons and unidentified remains investigations across the country.

The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs) is a national centralized repository and resource center for missing, unidentified, and unclaimed person cases across the United States.  NamUs helps investigators match long-term missing persons with unidentified remains to resolve cases and bring resolution to families. 

The Doe Network is a 100% volunteer organization devoted to assisting investigating agencies in bringing closure to national and international cold cases concerning Missing & Unidentified Persons. It is our mission to give the nameless back their names and return the missing to their families.

We connect police around the world – both technically and in person – bridging jurisdictions, time zones and languages.
